Welcome article regarding Mr. John
We extend a warm welcome to Mr. John Kruk who comes to KFS with extensive experience in working with IB and American programs. He has taught physics and served as an administrator at several international schools throughout Europe, the Middle East and Northern Africa. In 1998, Mr. John was hired to implement the IB diploma and American diploma programs at the American International School in Riyadh (AIS-R), graduating the first IB class in June 2002. Prior to accepting the position at KFS, Mr. John served as High School Principal at the American International School in Vienna, Austria, where his wife will continue as primary school teacher for the remainder of this year.
Mr. John has one daughter, Nora, who is teaching primary school in Dubai. In addition, he has a son, Brendon, who is married and has a family of three boys and one girl. They are living in Washington, DC.
When asked how he has found living in Riyadh and working at the King Faisal School, Mr. John stated that he has been impressed by the warm welcome he has received and in particular by the professionalism of the faculty, staff, and students at KFS. He added that he looks forward to working with the students, faculty, and parents in building a strong academic program at KFS.
