About Mothers' Centre:
Mothers' Centre is one of the most important managements supporting the educational process in King Faisal School. Their royal highness, Sons of His Majesty King Faisal, felt the importance of mother's role in embodying the partnership between School and home since established in 1991 AD 1412 H . Thus, HRH Princess Lulua established the first Mothers' Centre in King Faisal School. Believing in the importance of integration and collective work, Mothers' Centre is connected with other managements and departments for better achievements. The Mothers' Centre staff is playing its role in connecting School with home which one very important role in the educational process as the two of them has the strongest effect on the life of a student. This is in addition to other roles which the Mothers' Centre play in cooperation or alone having the support needed from the School Administration.
Mothers' Centre Duties:
- Enhancing educational relations between home (mothers) and School.
- Organizing mothers-teachers meeting through a closed telephone cycle, so that mothers get update about their son's educational progress and the obstacles if any.
- Helping mother get continuously acquainted with organizing plans and educational programmes which School adopts and discussing them.
- Organizing educational and training workshops for mothers.
- Filing mothers' ideas and communication them with School Administration.
Following up any absence of the students and contacting home to inquire about the reasons.
Educational Activities of Mothers' Centre:
Mothers' Centre is concerned with the religious, social and educational aspects and with whatever serves the educational process. It organizes a group of lectures and workshops for mothers. The Centre invites specialists in all relevant fields for a successful meetings and workshops (e.g. inviting Dr. AbdulKafi). The Centre also participates actively with other departments in School in organizing special events such as the graduation ceremony, open days, Kingdome's national day, receiving new students, and other events.
